Creating connections between companies, encouraging collaboration, and identifying new market opportunities—particularly in working with public administrations. With these goals in mind, Italy & Partners recently took part in a meeting at Imperiaware, a center promoted by Confindustria Imperia that hosts several local companies operating in the IT and ICT sectors.
The initiative was also made possible thanks to the involvement of the president of Confindustria Imperia, Luciano Tesorini, and aims to highlight a space specifically designed to encourage collaboration among companies. Imperiaware, in fact, brings together several technology companies from the local area in the same place, allowing them not only to share spaces and services but also to exchange ideas and develop projects together.
A Workshop to Share Experiences and Opportunities
During the meeting, which took place on March 23, 2026, Italy & Partners organized a workshop for companies from the province of Imperia. The goal was to present the company’s activities and show how collaboration between businesses can facilitate the development of services and projects for local public administrations.
During the workshop, several of the key partners with whom Italy & Partners already collaborates were also presented, including Almaviva, Yalla Security, CertAI, InvisibleFarm, Urban Innovators Global, and Urban Futures—organizations involved in innovation and urban development projects across different national and international contexts.
For companies in the Imperia area, connecting with these networks may represent an opportunity to expand their contacts, participate in new projects, and access broader markets.
What Opportunities for the Imperia Area?
One of the central topics of the meeting was the framework agreement between Italy & Partners and Almaviva, which provides the possibility to develop projects and services for public administrations together with partner companies.
Within this scenario, the companies hosted at Imperiaware could contribute their expertise and technological solutions, taking part in the development of digital services for public institutions.
The Value of Business Networks: An Example from Brescia
During the meeting, the experience of the business network IOBO was also presented. The network is active in Brescia and involved in initiatives related to the space economy.
It represents a concrete example of how collaboration among companies can help businesses access larger projects, reach new clients, and participate in funding opportunities.
For this reason, the idea emerged to create connections between companies in the Imperia area and the IOBO network, in order to explore whether some of these collaborative experiences could be replicated locally.
The Objectives of the Meeting
The meeting therefore represented a first opportunity for discussion between Italy & Partners, the companies based at Imperiaware, and the partners of the network.
The aim is to understand whether the conditions exist to develop new collaborations and services dedicated to businesses and public administrations in the area, building together new project and market opportunities.
