The Regional Council of Apulia takes a step forward towards innovation with the launch of GIAC – Gestione Informatizzata degli Atti Consiliari (Computerized Management of Council Acts). This project is designed to make the management of laws, administrative acts, questions, motions, and all major council measures simpler, more efficient, and more transparent.

What will change with GIAC?
Thanks to GIAC, all information related to the activities of the Assembly and the Committees will be available in a digital and centralized format. This means that staff will be able to manage acts more intuitively, while citizens will gain access to clear and reliable tools to follow council activities.
Through the platform, the Apulia Region will be able to offer more accessible digital services, making legislative activities more transparent and easier to understand for anyone who wishes to follow the Council’s work. In fact, GIAC will represent a concrete step towards building a public administration system that is closer to citizens and committed to transparency.
The contribution of Italy & Partners
The initiative has been made possible thanks to the support of Italy & Partners, which, through the Consip Framework Agreement Gara Applicativi in ottica Cloud ed.3, contributed to structuring an effective digital pathway. The project includes maintenance activities, technical-specialist support, and staff training to ensure that the platform’s use becomes increasingly simple and secure.
Through the development of GIAC, Italy & Partners aims to foster the evolution of organizational processes, promoting a modern digital model through which the Regional Council will not only improve its internal efficiency but also strengthen dialogue with the community.
